This carpet shell has a beautifully simple shape, and comes from the lovely Porthcurno beach. Framed by the Minack Theatre on the cliffs on one side and the dramatic Logan Rock headland on the other, it’s a beautiful place with clear aqua sea and pale sand. This is the most common shell found in white drifts on the beach. Finely made from high quality sterling silver with a fine sterling silver 18 inch chain.

With gorgeous soft, white sand washed by a sea that turns turquoise in the sun, and high cliffs on both sides providing shelter, Porthcurno Beach is an oasis of natural beauty. At low tide the sand stretches to neighbouring Pedn Vounder beach, and all the way along to the Logan Rock – a granite boulder weighing approximately 80 tonnes, which could once be rocked by applying just a little pressure. Up on the cliffs from Porthcurno is the internationally renowned Minack Theatre, built in the 1920s by theatrical visionary Rowena Cade and her faithful gardener.
